PigSpread examines how an African swine fever outbreak may unfold

In a new study, researchers from North Carolina State University used a computer model to understand how African swine fever might spread among swine farms in the southeastern United States – and examined the effectiveness of existing response plans. They found that although control actions would help, an outbreak could still prove persistent and costly.
